Test Technician

OverviewElement has an opportunity for a Test Technician to join our rapidly expanding team.As a member of the operations team, the Test Technician position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under direct supervision. The technician positions must be proficient in a number of core business skills including but not limited to compliance to established safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures.Salary: $25- $30/hr DOEResponsibilitiesConducts environmental simulation tests such as Temperature/Humidity, Thermal shock, salt spray, shock, vibration, HALT, IP, package testing, acceleration, altitude.Contribute to 5S and safety goals of the laboratory.Support laboratory with report writing.Professionally interact with customers when testing is witnessed.Skills / QualificationsWorking knowledge of laboratory safetyHS diploma or GED certificate preferred. College or vocational school coursework welcomedMinimum of 2 years' experience in a testing related fieldAnalyzes and compiles testing data from the tests performedBasic understanding of testing conceptsPossess computer skillsAbility to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry a plusPhysical Demands:Frequency of required physical force: Minimum (moderate)
