Plant Accountant

Management AccountantMinimum 3+ Years’ experience in Plant / Manufacturing Cost Accounting.OverviewThis role supports a high-activity manufacturing operation with key ownership of standard cost processes, inventory controls, and reporting deliverables. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced plant environment, partnering cross-functionally, and improving process accuracy and efficiency.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)Minimum 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing/plant accounting environmentWorking experience in SAP (manufacturing modules exposure strongly preferred)Familiarity with standard costing fundamentals (rates, cost updates, variance drivers)Solid understanding of inventory processes (perpetual inventory, transaction review, physical counts)Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with operations and leadershipResponsibilitiesMaintain and support the plant’s standard cost system and related governanceCalculate and maintain overhead and labor rate structures used in product costingSupport annual standard cost roll activities within the ERP environmentMaintain and update costing-related master data (part numbers, BOMs, routings)Verify and support accuracy of customer pricing elements and related documentationReview inventory transactions for accuracy; support perpetual inventory and physical countsPrepare month-end entries and analysis; deliver reporting within established deadlinesSupport forecasting and commercial processes including volume forecasts and quote support
