Set within the luxury setting of Carneros Resort and Spa, FARM delivers warm hospitality, refined cuisine, and an inviting atmosphere for resort guests and local patrons alike.Position SummaryWe are seeking a gracious, polished, and service-oriented Host to be the first and last impression of our restaurant. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, upscale environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional hospitality with warmth and professionalism.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESWarmly welcome guests upon arrival and provide a genuine, memorable first impressionManage reservations and walk-ins using reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable or similar platforms)Coordinate table assignments to optimize flow and ensure smooth serviceCommunicate effectively with management, servers, and kitchen staff regarding guest needs and timingMaintain a clean, organized, and inviting host stand and entry areaProvide accurate information about menus, specials, resort amenities, and local attractionsHandle guest inquiries, special requests, and concerns with professionalism and careQUALIFICATIONSPrevious experience in a similar role within luxury hospitality.Strong communication skills and attention to detail.Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.Familiarity with property or outlet-specific needs (e.g., Boon Fly, FARM, Hilltop).Team player mentality and a commitment to maintaining the resort's high standards.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to work a flexible schedule based on event volume and business needs with ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.Ability to lift up to 25 lbsMust be able to stand and walk for extended periods and move between indoor and outdoor venues on the resort propertyAbility to navigate the resort's expansive property as applicable.TOTAL COMPENSATIONBase SalaryMedical, Dental & Vision InsuranceHealth and Dependent Care FSA OptionsLife Insurance, Short-Term Disability and Long-Term DisabilityCritical Illness, Cancer, Hospital Indemnity and Accident Supplemental Insurance401k with Employer MatchPaid Time Off (PTO) & Sick Leave
