Workday Financials Consultant

Location: LATAMAbout the Role We are looking for a Senior Workday Financials Engineer with strong expertise in CODA and Workday Accounting Center to support a critical financial systems environment across LATAM. This role will be key in ensuring continuity, stability, and accuracy across accounting operations, while providing backup coverage to reduce operational and delivery risk.This is a highly specialized opportunity for a professional with deep hands-on experience in Workday Financials, enterprise accounting processes, and financial integrations. In addition to the core focus on CODA and Accounting Center, the role will also support Workday Studio integrations and Workday Extend applications as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as a subject matter expert in CODA and Workday Accounting CenterProvide backup coverage for core accounting operations and financial processingConfigure and support:Accounting Center rulesJournal generation and posting logicLedger balancing and accounting validationsTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to:Accounting transformationsJournal errors and rejectsFinancial reconciliationsAudit and control requirementsSupport integrations feeding Accounting Center from upstream systemsPartner closely with Finance, Accounting, and Audit teams during month-end and close activitiesHelp stabilize and optimize CODA-based accounting processesProvide support for Workday Studio integrations, including data flow, orchestration, and sequencing issuesSupport inbound and outbound integrations using Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, REST, and SOAP APIsAssist with Workday Extend enhancements and production support for financial use casesRequired ExperienceStrong experience with Workday Financial ManagementDeep hands-on expertise in CODA and Workday Accounting CenterProven experience supporting complex, enterprise-scale accounting modelsExperience integrating external systems into Accounting CenterSolid understanding of financial data flows, controls, reconciliations, and audit requirementsExperience supporting financial operations in complex and controlled environmentsAdvanced English communication skillsPreferred BackgroundExperience supporting Workday Studio integrationsExposure to Workday ExtendPrevious experience working with regional or global finance teamsAvailability to work remotely from LATAMIdeal Profile We are looking for a professional who combines strong technical depth in financial systems with a solid understanding of accounting operations, controls, and business continuity.
