While this is optional, candidates who provide a video presentation will be given priority.Note: If you're hired for this role, you may be asked to update your LinkedIn profile :)Key ResponsibilitiesPerform month-end close tasks including bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, P&L review, and general ledger data entryManage day-to-day transactional accounting operations, including vendor bill entry and payment processing, accounts payable oversight and aging management, customer invoice generation, and accounts receivable collections and follow-upSupport FP&A activities including updating budgets, maintaining financial forecasts, and providing variance analysisLeverage the latest AI platforms (including OpenAI and Claude) to produce high-quality books and financial reportsDevelop scalable and accurate accounting workflows to record client financial activity with precision and efficiencyBuild strong client relationships and deliver an exceptional experience across a portfolio of accountsAbout YouNeed to haves:+5 years in a finance, accounting, consulting, or business role; B.S. or M.S. in a related field (e.g., Accounting, Business, Operations, Economics)Hands-on proficiency with cloud-based financial tools — experience with platforms such as QuickBooks Online, Google Workspace, Stripe, Bill.com, HubSpot, and various banking systems is a plusTechnologically self-sufficient — able to learn new software independently and manage multiple applications simultaneously with little to no hand-holdingExceptional productivity — proven ability to handle high-volume, complex client work independentlyStrong execution mindset — decisive and action-oriented, capable of making sound judgments with the information at handHighly organized with a sharp eye for detail and a process-driven approachStrong problem-solving and critical thinking abilitiesAbility to manage competing priorities and escalate appropriately and on timeContributes to a culture of inclusion and belongingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Excel and/or Google SheetsNice To HavesBackground in public accounting and/or corporate/industry accounting rolesPrior experience in a people management or team leadership capacityExperience thriving in a high-growth startup or fast-paced consulting environmentCompensation: 2500-3000 USDIf this opportunity sounds good to you, send us your resume!
