Our products help to enable theelectronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEM'sglobally. Our global headquarters are located in Nashua, NH and we have design,sales and manufacturing locations globally.Amphenol Spectra-Strip is a leader in hyper scale data center bulk wiresolutions. We develop and manufacture gigabit copper cable solutions for highperformance and cloud compute applications. We are currently seeking anApplications Engineering Manager to join our team in Valley Green, PA.RESPONSIBILITIES:Build out, lead, and mentor the Spectra-Strip Applications Engineering team,overseeing technical project execution, customer support, and productimplementation.Serve as the primary technical interface between engineering, fieldapplication engineers, sales, and key customers-translating complex customerrequirements into actionable engineering deliverables.Guide concept development using input from customer needs, competitorbenchmarking, existing product portfolios, and patent landscapes. Collaboratecross-functionally across Amphenol business units and engineering sites.Ensure product designs meet all customer functional requirements and arealigned with manufacturability, cost-efficiency, and timeline expectations.Evaluate and support product selection and integration during the earlystages of customer engagement to ensure technical viability and long-termcompatibility.Provide strategic and technical direction during design reviews, projectmeetings, and customer discussions-supporting the full product lifecycle fromconcept through production.Coordinate regular communications with internal and external stakeholdersincluding the tracking of project milestones, technical deliverables, and issueresolution.Oversee verification and validation testing including FEA, simulations, andphysical testing to ensure quality and performance requirements are met.Lead technical troubleshooting efforts in partnership with quality,engineering, and manufacturing to address customer issues and ensure rapidresolution.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (Electrical/ElectronicsEngineering Degree alternative)5 years of leadership experience within an Applications or Field Engineeringenvironment, ideally in the interconnect, electronics, or electromechanicalsectors.Proven ability to manage global customer relationships and drive technicalprojects through cross-functional collaboration.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with theability to distill complex technical topics for a range of stakeholders.Ability to travel ~15% domestic and internationalAmphenol Corporation is proud of our reputation as an excellent employer.
