Staff Accountant Dayton, OH Full-time | Onsite Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 A prominent real estate organization is seeking a detail‑oriented and reliable Staff Accountant to support its full‑cycle accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of AP, AR, general ledger work, and monthly close activities, and who thrives in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment. This is a full-time onsite position with a salary up to $75,000. Key Responsibilities • Perform full‑cycle accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and journal entries (debits/credits) • Assist with month‑end close, including reconciliations, reporting, and analysis • Maintain accurate financial records and support year‑end audit activities • Utilize computer‑based accounting systems and ensure proper integration with the general ledger • Prepare financial data, reports, and analysis to support internal decision‑making Qualifications • Associate’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration required; equivalent experience considered • 3+ years of accounting, reporting, and analysis experience • Significant experience with computer‑based accounting systems, including module integration with the G/L • Experience with general ledger analysis, month‑end close, and year‑end audit support • Experience using mainframe financial software such as Yardi strongly preferred Why Take This Role This position is ideal for someone who is analytical, organized, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
