Staff Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $60,000 to $80,000 per year. Job Responsibilities:Perform account reconciliations and implement necessary adjustments to align with financial regulations.Participate in monthly closing procedures and evaluate associated processes.Manage fixed asset records, including allocation of depreciation methods for regulatory and financial compliance.Record entries for payroll on a bi-monthly basis.Monitor expense accounts to ensure consistency with regulations and identify irregularities. Requirements:Maintain accurate records of revenue-related transactions.Assist in the management of accounts payable and conduct credit card reconciliation activities.Uphold the integrity of financial controls by following internal protocols.Complete additional duties as directed by superiors within the finance department.Adapt to evolving business requirements and circumstances. Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Accounting.Proficient verbal and written communication capabilities.Demonstrate a fundamental grasp of financial regulations and principles.Exhibit strong attention to detail and be skilled in Microsoft Excel usage.Show demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills.REF#50884
