The successful candidate will be responsible for modernizing the organization's systems, infrastructure, and digital capabilities to enhance data-driven decision-making, streamline operations, and support the mission of ocean conservation. This role requires a strategic and operational leader with a proven track record in IT, including experience in CRM, ERP, data architecture, integration tools, and cloud-based platforms. The Vice President will work closely with the executive team to ensure that technology initiatives align with the organization's goals and will champion a user-first IT approach to empower staff and foster a culture of collaboration and change readiness. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of progressive IT leadership experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior role, and a Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. They should be adept at leading large-scale technology modernization efforts, particularly within mission-driven organizations, and have a strong grasp of IT compliance, cybersecurity, and risk management. Key competencies include effective communication, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage change and build relationships across technical and non-technical audiences. Familiarity with nonprofit technology ecosystems and relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ITIL, or PMP are a plus.Travel PercentLess than 10%FunctionsInformation TechnologyData Management/Analytics
