We enable our corporate customers to achieve their design vision through stylish, customizable products built in the USA. Our manufacturing facilities in Los Angeles and Dallas are expanding, and we need a sharp, hands-on production leader to run our Dallas plant floor.Role DescriptionYou'll own day-to-day production operations at our Dallas facility, managing that team of approximately 10 skilled production workers building made-to-order office furniture. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dallas, Texas, for a Factory Manager. The Factory Manager will oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, quality standards, and adherence to production schedules. Responsibilities include planning production workflows, overseeing operational activities, managing manufacturing processes, and ensuring seamless coordination between departments to meet business objectives. The ideal candidate will lead teams, optimize resources, and maintain compliance with all safety and quality protocols. You'll report directly to the General Manager with visibility to the COO.QualificationsPrior experience in managing a cabinet shop or mill works facility will trump most everything.Strong expertise in Production Planning and Production Management to ensure efficient manufacturing processes and on-time delivery.Experience in Quality Control to maintain high standards and improve product excellence.Proficiency in Operations Management to lead and optimize operational activities across departments.Familiarity with Manufacturing Operations, including managing industrial workflows and resource allocation.Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.Understanding of workplace safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or equivalent experience is preferred.Prior experience in managing manufacturing teams or facilities is highly advantageous.Proactive, punctual, and collaborative with a positive attitudeA background in competitive sports or team athletics is a plus.
