Construction Manager/Owner's Rep - Industrial Developer

Macdonald & Company partnered with a nationally recognized real estate investment and development platform seeking a Junior Construction Manager to oversee ground-up industrial projects on the ownership side. This is a move out of the GC world and onto the developer side of the table.You will represent ownership from site selection and preconstruction through delivery, leading design teams, consultants, and general contractors while protecting budget, schedule, and overall investment performance. The role sits at the intersection of development, capital, and construction.The platform is institutionally backed, actively developing across major growth markets, and has a significant pipeline of speculative and build-to-suit industrial projects (warehouse, distribution, logistics).Key responsibilities:Oversee multiple ground-up industrial developmentsLead preconstruction strategy, GMP review, and value engineeringManage external GCs as a true owner’s repDrive schedule accountability and cost controlPartner closely with development and acquisitions teamsIdeal background:Industrial ground-up experience (tilt-wall, distribution, logistics)Currently with a reputable GC but ready to step into an ownership roleStrong precon and financial acumenComfortable managing multiple projects and external partnersThis is a strategic opportunity offering greater influence, broader exposure to the full deal lifecycle, and long-term platform growth.Reach out directly at
