Fieldston Lodge provides 24-hour care along with many other services to ensure you or your loved one will receive the highest quality of care. Our staff adheres to the highest medical practice standards and will develop a care plan to match the unique preferences and needs of each resident.We are currently seeking Full Time/ Part Time and Per Diem RNs for all shifts."COME JOIN OUR TEAM"Job Description:Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care.Reports to the Site Manager.Starts IVs.Administers IV /Oral Beta Blockers and monitors the patient.Maintains daily Crash Cart/medication Logs.Completes Monthly Logs.Reviews Schedule/Orders.Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skillsAssists physicians during examinations and proceduresPerforms various patient tests and administers medications within the scop of practice of the registered nurse.Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures.Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.Good visual and auditory acuity as well as good manual dexterity and the ability to be readily understood are essential.Must be able to work in an environment with multiple deadlines and priorities.Must be able to work in a stressful environment.Demonstrates competency in the performance of job related skills appropriate to his/her customer populations and departmental services while providing excellent customer service.Utilizes and operates equipment and mechanical devices which provide for a functional, effective, and safe environment.Adheres to policies, procedures, guidelines relative to departmental operations.Requirements:· Must have effective communication skills, both verbal and written· Must be creative and have good observations and analytical skills· Education Requirements for a Registered Nurse (RN)· New York State Registered Nurse license in good standing· Must be a willing to work together as a team to ensure the goals at hand are achieved.Qualifications:· New Grads welcome· Ability to work every other weekend· Excellent customer service skills· Committed to working assigned schedules with the ability to be punctual and have a good attendance recordFieldston Lodge Care Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
