Founding Backend Engineer

Great company and team based out of Miami.Private Equity Backed and starting their next growth stage.ConstructionTech startup, based in Miami, FL, with the mission of reducing the cost of construction projects.We are seeking a Founding Backend Engineer (with Python and RAG experience) to join our team.The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing and implementing our advanced agentic Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) system.Roles:Develop and integrate sophisticated knowledge and entity graphs to enhance our system's intelligence and efficiency.Collaborate closely with our engineering team to design, test, and deploy robust backend solutions.Optimize our data handling and retrieval processes using state-of-the-art database technologies.Required Qualifications:Proven experience in Python programming and its application in large-scale projects.Strong background in working with knowledge graphs or entity graphs.Familiarity with the Llama index or similar indexing technologies preferred.Preferred Skills:Proficiency in backend technologies such as FastAPI for creating efficient APIs.Experience with databases like MongoDB and PostgreSQL.Ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment and adapt to rapidly evolving technologies.Experience in the construction industry (not required)What We Offer:$6,000 - $10,000 / month1-3.5% equityStart date:Immediately
