Litigation Legal Assistant
A busy firm in the West Caldwell area is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to join their growing firm. This Litigation Legal Assistant will get the chance to join a stable firm that offers work schedule flexibility and an excellent work/life balance. This Litigation Legal Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to attorneys in all phases of litigation. The ideal Litigation Legal Assistant will have extensive litigation experience and be local to the West Caldwell area. Responsibilities of this Litigation Legal Assistant will include but not be limited to: Litigation Legal Assistant Responsibilities:Support attorneys throughout all stages of litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial activitiesDraft, format, and proofread legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondenceFile legal documents electronically in state and federal courts (e-filing) and manage court deadlines and calendarsMaintain and organize case files, exhibits, and supporting documentationCoordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial logisticsCommunicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and vendors in a professional mannerAssist with discovery processes, including document production, review, and trackingPrepare trial binders, exhibits, and witness materialsConduct basic legal research and gather case-related information as neededTrack billable time and assist with time entry and expense reportingThis Litigation Legal Assistant position pays between $65,000 and $75,000 annually depending on experience.
