In this position, you’ll combine advanced imaging expertise with compassionate patient care to help deliver life-saving screenings and diagnostic exams for our community.If you are passionate about patient advocacy, high-quality imaging, and being part of a collaborative breast health team, we invite you to bring your expertise to Renown Breast Centers.What You’ll Do As a Mammography Technologist, you will: Performhigh-quality screening and diagnostic mammogramsin accordance with ACR and MQSA guidelines Partner closely withradiologists and referring physiciansduring mammographic procedures Ensurepatient comfort, dignity, and educationthroughout the imaging experience Apply advanced technical skills to produce thehighest quality images for accurate diagnosis Maintain proficiency inmammography equipment and imaging technology Document procedures and manage workflow using hospital and imaging department systems Support additional services withinRenown Breast Centersas neededWhat Makes This Role Meaningful Every exam you perform has the potential to change a life. Mammography technologists are often thefirst line in early breast cancer detection , providing both clinical expertise and emotional support to patients during an important moment in their healthcare journey.What You’ll Bring Education Working knowledge of the English language (reading, writing, and speaking) Experience One year of clinical imaging experience preferred Licensure American Registry of Radiologic TechnologistsARRT(R)at time of hire ARRT(M) Mammography certificationat time of hire State of Nevada license for Medical Radiographyat time of hire State of Nevada Mammography licenseat time of hire Certifications BLS (American Heart Association)within 60 days of hire Technical Skills Ability to operate mammography imaging equipment and hospital computer systems Basic computer skills required to complete training, documentation, and online systemsWhy Join Renown Health?
