Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work as Clinical Decision Unit nurse in medical-surgical setting • Variable 3x12 hour shifts (7 AM to 7 PM) - specific schedule to be discussed at interview • 36 guaranteed hours per week • Alternating weekend requirements • No call requirements • Patient ratios of 1:4-6 on 8-bed unit • Minimum 1 year of experience required • Strong Med Surg experience required • Required certification: BLS • Preferred certifications: ACLS • EPIC EMR system experience highly preferred • Float requirements to any inpatient unit as customary • Process high volume of admissions • Care for typical ER observation and admission patients • Coordinate, plan, direct, and implement nursing process for patient care • Black scrubs required • Must be a team player, willing to help, and demonstrate pleasant and caring attitude towards patient outcomes Facility: This healthcare facility is a 245-bed Level 3 Emergency and Trauma Center that provides comprehensive medical services to the region.
