This position supports operations across all Watermill outlets, including the Cafe, Bar, Restaurant, Market, Regency Club, Room Service, and Patio.Restaurant & Service LeadershipOversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring service standards, timing, and presentation are consistently metLead associates during service, maintaining a strong floor presenceMonitor guest experience and respond quickly and professionally to concernsOrganize and lead pre-shift meetings, communicating key updates and prioritiesPartner with culinary leadership to ensure food quality and executionTeam Leadership & DevelopmentAssist in hiring, training, coaching, and developing restaurant associatesFoster a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environmentSupport scheduling aligned with business levels and labor goalsProvide ongoing feedback and performance coachingFinancial & Operational OversightSupport profitability through labor management, cost control, and inventory oversightMaintain accurate POS usage, reporting, and cash handling proceduresMonitor and maintain appropriate inventory and par levelsAssist in tracking revenue, expenses, and operational metricsOperational ExcellenceMaintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards throughout all outletsEnsure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and health regulationsSupport special events and promotions within the restaurantCollaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiencesOccasionally assist other departments when needed to support hotel operations and guest satisfactionPerform additional duties as needed to support successful operationsWhat We're Looking ForWe're seeking a confident, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and leads by example.Qualifications:2+ years of Food & Beverage experience, including supervisory responsibilityPrior restaurant leadership experience requiredStrong knowledge of restaurant operations and service standardsAbility to lead effectively in a high-volume environmentExcellent communication and guest service skillsStrong organizational and time management abilitiesWorking knowledge of POS systems and basic computer applicationsAdditional Skills:Knowledge of beverage operations, wine, and service standards preferredAbility to manage conflict with professionalism and tactFinancial acumen related to labor, cost control, and inventoryAdditional Requirements:Ability to stand and move for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 35 lbs.Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidaysProfessionalism, positivity, and a team-first mindsetAbout UsAt Marcus Hotels & Resorts, our people are our greatest asset.
