PrePress Technician/Plate Maker

Competitive pay and comprehensive benefit package!Day Shift: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pmKey ResponsibilitiesPrepare approved art for Flexo plating. Send stepped digital files to the plate room.Prepare approved art for the Digital press. Send stepped digital files to the Domino.Make flexo printing plates using Esko platemaking and DuPont processing equipment.Pull plates for repeat labels.Maintain plate filing system.Comply with all company policies.Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) related to job function and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s). Knowledge/SkillsHigh School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)Must possess basic math and computer operations skills.Knowledge of ESKO software and/or Adobe Illustrator helpful. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.Must be able to work independently from general instructions.Strong attention to detail, good time management, and team attitude needed.Must have the ability to organize, follow directions and understand job ticket information.Must be familiar with basic hand-held measuring tools.Must be able to perform basic set-ups on machines and tools used with the machines.Commitment to producing quality product.
