Locums - Cardiac Anesthesiologist Richmond, Virginia Schedule / Availability* Start Date: ASAP * Duration: Ongoing (long-term anticipated) * Setting: Hospital - Level I Trauma Center (466 beds) * Coverage Type:* Weekdays: 7a-3p (in-house), 3p-7a (home call) * Weekends: 24-hour home call (Saturday & Sunday)* Call Coverage: Required (beeper) * Orientation: Must be completed on-site prior to startFacility & Practice Details* Practice Model: Care Team Model - MDs work solo or supervise CRNAs * Case Types: Cardiac, Burn, Pediatrics, and other complex cases * Patient Population: Adults (primarily inpatient) * Support Staff: CRNAs, techs, nurses * Daily Volume: Variable cardiac caseload * EMR / Systems: Expanse, Meditech, Medaxion, Qgenda, Patient KeeperLicensing & Requirements* Board Certification: Board Certified Cardiac Anesthesiologist (BE/BC considered) * Maintenance of Certification (MOC): Required * TEE Certification: Required * Medical License: Active Virginia license or ability to obtain * Education: Degree from an accredited residency program * Certifications: DEA and CSR - Required * Experience: Must be comfortable working solo and supervising cardiac casesReason for Need* Anticipated cardiac anesthesia openings - ongoing coverage requiredAllow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more!
