They repair, service, and inspect equipment, including overhead cranes, production machinery, ground-operated machinery, and facility grounds. This position helps the company create a culture of safety by following all safety policies and safe work practices.What can you expect from the job?1st shift –6:00AM-2:30PMExposure to the elementsDirty working conditionsRegular exposure to moving mechanical or machinery partsModerately stressful and constantly changing work environmentLots of walking and standing – up to 8 hours a dayFrequent lifting, pushing, or pulling of material up to 51lbs.What are the requirements?Working knowledge of electricity (110, 230, and 460 voltage), hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanicsAbility to read and understand prints, documents, and/or drawingsValid driver's licenseHigh school diploma or GED18+ years oldBasic math skillsBasic literacy for reading instructions and using hand toolsBasic computer skillsThree years of related maintenance experience preferredTechnical school or equivalent training or equivalent work experience preferredWho does well in this position?If you like working with your hands, you don't mind a little dirt, and you prefer working with people, this may be a good position for you.
