Maintenance Mechanic

What You’ll DoPerforms preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs to production and mechanical equipment, machinery and componentsDetermines causes of operating problems, consults schematics and orders replacement parts.Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical or electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment, follows electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specificationLays out, builds, tests, troubleshoots, repairs and modifies production electronic components, parts, switch panels etc.May test new equipment and troubleshoot operation and make minor adjustments to equipmentExperience working with PLC's and using programming software is requiredMaintains and completes all required recordsMay be involved in safety committees or initiativesWhat You’ll NeedPerforms complex repairs on production equipment and tools motors and mechanical components including basic pneumatics and hydraulicsMust have experience working with Hydraulics, Electrical, and Pneumatics all tied into PLC operating system.Performs basic troubleshooting on electrical equipment / 3 Phase / equipment up to 480v.Reads blueprints and schematicsComplete PM maintenance and repairs on production equipment (Band Saw, Iron Worker, Burn Table, Welding Machines & Plasma Torches, Overhead Crane & Forklifts)Maintain the facilities (Lights & Fans)May be able to tack weld (Stik or MIG) for minor repairsFollow all safety rules and practices including but not limited to Lockout/Tagout and PPE assessmentFollows all safety rules and practicesPerforms other duties as assignedWorking ConditionsHourly Full-Time positionWork environment includes plant, warehouse, production, and non-production areasThis position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidaysAbility to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plantSafety ActivitiesBe aware of and observe all safety practices.
