PACU RN in Pendleton, OR

Deliver specialized nursing care in the perioperative setting, supporting patients throughout their surgical journey-from preoperative preparation, intraoperative assistance, to postoperative recovery. This role demands a Registered Nurse with expertise in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) nursing to ensure patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes by adhering to established standards and protocols.Responsibilities include:Providing comprehensive perioperative nursing care using the nursing process and facility policiesAdvocating for patient needs and coordinating care within the surgical teamSupervising and directing assigned personnel to maintain quality care standardsParticipating in on-call rotations to support unit needsFlexibly assisting in other qualified patient care areas before staff float assignmentsDesired Experience and Qualifications:Current RN licensure with experience in perioperative nursing, particularly PACUStrong knowledge of surgical care standards and patient advocacyAbility to supervise and collaborate with multidisciplinary teamsAdaptable to varied clinical environments and on-call responsibilitiesExcellent communication and critical thinking skillsSchedule/Hours:Shift: 11:00 AM - 7:30 PMParticipation in on-call rotation requiredLocation Insight:Pendleton, OR, is known for its welcoming community and rich Western heritage.
