In this role, you will be working as an application engineer with a focus on Python and AWS services like Lambda, storage gateway, S3 and Athena. In this role you will be standing up applications that serve the larger investment space and help support them once they are elevated to production. As part of this engagement you will be working closely with our business partners to understand the business requirements. Additional opportunities may be present with other analytical tools like SageMaker, Athena, S3, Python, Git, etc. You will be a part of a highly dynamic team that has far-reaching impact across our Equity, Fixed Income, Quant, Risk Management, Investment Strategy and Finance business. Our team is comprised of other application engineers that have a wide range of experience with development both in the analytics and traditional software development lifecycle. This position is best fit for an individual who enjoys working with clients to help them gain the insights and value they want with the right software and tools. They should have the ability to be self-starters and highly motivated to get things done.
