May pick up additional weekday or weekend shifts as available.In this position, you will assess and treat adults with communication and swallowing disorders primarily in acute care, with occasional support on the inpatient Rehabilitation Unit. With an emphasis on patient-family centered care, we specialize in a variety of services with a dynamic interdisciplinary/trans-disciplinary team approach.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Perform comprehensive patient evaluationsDevelop and implement appropriate treatment programs to include family specific goals and time framesProvide patient and family education and trainingEducation and experience requirements:Master's Degree in Speech Language PathologyLicensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of DelawareCertificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CF CertificationCPR CertificationAcute care experience preferredThis is a flat rate position. Any individual hired into this position will be paid $59.00/hour plus any applicable differentials.This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
