Ahava Therapy Services - SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST (SLP)Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN positions availableJoin Our Team!Ahava Therapy Services provides Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy across a variety of care settings.We are committed to delivering innovative, evidence-based care through teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration.Our mission is to maximize each patient's potential while improving their quality of life — leading the revolution in therapy services with compassion, respect, and clinical excellence.We hire therapists who share our vision, demonstrate strong clinical skills, and work diligently to restore function while preventing decline in the patients we serve.About the FacilityDecatur Wellness & Rehab Center is a 64-bed skilled nursing facility offering both short-term and long-term rehabilitation.Be part of an in-house therapy team under strong leadership, where clinicians have autonomy, support, and a shared commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and treat residents in accordance with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer guidelines.Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine swallowing, cognitive-communication, and language deficits.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with functional, achievable goals.Document evaluations, daily treatment, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and promptly.Revise treatment plans based on patient performance and progress.Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and carryover strategies.Collaborate with nursing staff, interdisciplinary team members, and families to maximize functional abilities.Participate in care conferences, facility meetings, and quality improvement activities.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of community resources and assist with discharge planning as needed.Stay clinically current through continuing education and contribute to in-service education.Adhere to professional, ethical, regulatory, and facility standards.Maintain expected productivity levels and demonstrate strong teamwork, communication, and clinical judgment.QualificationsMaster's Degree in Speech-Language PathologyCertificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)Active SLP license liscense in the state of practiceCurrent BLS/CPR certificationStrong observational, verbal, and written communication skillsBenefits (Full/Part-Time)Competitive PayDaily Pay OptionMedical, Dental, VisionShort/Long-Term DisabilityAncillary Insurance & FSAPTO + Free Birthday Holiday + Holiday PayFree Life Insurance401(k) with Company MatchFree CEUs and Continuing Education SupportBe part of something meaningful.Join Ahava Therapy Services — where compassion meets excellence, and therapists are empowered to make a difference every day.
