Speech Language Pathologist

Overview:Vista Medical Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic Rehabilitation Services team. As an SLP, you will play a key role in helping patients improve their communication and swallowing abilities, working closely with interdisciplinary teams to provide exceptional patient-centered care.Responsibilities:Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals.Collaborate with physicians, occupational and physical therapists, nursing staff, and families.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, progress notes, and discharge summaries.Educate patients and their families on strategies to enhance communication and swallowing function.Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.Qualifications:Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist.Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred (CFY applicants welcome to apply).CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus, but not required.What We Offer:Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits packageSupportive and collaborative work environmentContinuing education and professional development opportunitiesState-of-the-art facilities and equipmentOpportunity to make a meaningful impact in patients' lives every dayJoin Us:If you're passionate about helping others find their voice and regain independence, we'd love to meet you.
