Lead Full-Stack Application Developer - Remote (.NET & Azure)

Prominent is seeking an experienced Lead Full-Stack Application Developer to provide hands-on technical leadership and end-to-end ownership of Azure application development within distributed Scrum teams. You will partner with cross-functional teams across multiple locations to deliver resilient, scalable solutions while promoting CI/CD, DevSecOps, and engineering best practices.You'll work directly with stakeholders, leadership, and development teams to translate business requirements into agile user stories, technical tasks, and supporting documentation.This job is REMOTE, but Candidates based within a commute to our client’s office in either Alpharetta or Marietta, Georgia, Omaha, Nebraska, Greenwood Village, Colorado or Berkeley Heights, New Jersey will be given strong preference.Candidates requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply for this opportunity. Potential candidates will need to have the ability to work W2 on Prominent’ payroll during the contract period.Required Experience10+ years of experience developing, deploying, and supporting enterprise applications in Microsoft Azure.Proven leadership experience driving adoption of CI/CD, shift-left testing, and DevSecOps practices.Experience mentoring and enabling development teams.Preferred: Azure Government Cloud experience and familiarity with FedRAMP, FISMA, and Zero Trust Architecture.Technical SkillsLanguages/Frameworks: C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, HTMLDevOps & Infrastructure: Azure DevOps, Git, Terraform, JenkinsSecurity & Quality: Fortify, Sonatype, automated testing, code quality and security remediationMonitoring & Performance: Azure Monitor, Application InsightsKey ResponsibilitiesLead full-stack application development following Agile, TDD, and DevSecOps practices.Translate requirements into user stories, tasks, technical documentation, and BDD acceptance criteria using Gherkin.Ensure all code meets quality, security, and testing standards before deployment, including remediation of Sonatype and Fortify findings.Implement feature flags and deployment strategies that maintain environment stability and support continuous delivery.Drive performance tuning, resiliency, scalability, and disaster recovery readiness across Azure environments.Promote API contract testing, service virtualization, and independent microservice testing to support distributed development teams.Support production releases using feature management, dark launches, and rapid rollback capabilities.Contribute to team knowledge sharing, architecture documentation, API contracts, and technical standards.Hourly Rate range is $83 -$96
