Position Title: Capture ManagerLocation: Lexington Park, MarylandDepartment: CorporateWork Type: Full timeWorkplace Type: HybridDescriptionRMC is seeking a highly experienced Capture Manager to lead strategic growth initiatives across DoD and federal agency customers. This role is responsible for driving the full capture lifecycle—from opportunity qualification through award—by developing winning strategies, leading cross-functional teams, and positioning RMC for success on competitive pursuits.Key Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end capture efforts for assigned opportunities, from early qualification through contract awardDevelop and execute comprehensive capture strategies for new business and recompete effortsBuild and maintain capture plans, schedules, and gate review materials aligned with corporate processesShape and drive win strategies, including discriminators, competitive positioning, and alignment to evaluation criteriaConduct competitive intelligence activities, including black hat sessions and assessments of competitor strengths, weaknesses, and likely approachesLead development of Price-to-Win (PTW) analyses using customer budget insights, procurement history, and competitive dataPartner with pricing and finance to develop compliant, competitive, and executable pricing strategiesPerform detailed pricing analyses, including labor mix, wrap rates, and historical award trendsBalance technical solutioning with cost competitiveness to maximize probability of win (Pwin)Develop in-depth customer profiles, including mission priorities, acquisition strategies, and key decision driversCollaborate with Portfolio Managers, Program Managers, and technical SMEs to design differentiated and executable solutionsLead teaming strategy development, including partner identification, evaluation, and integrationManage cross-functional capture teams across technical, pricing, recruiting, and operations stakeholdersEnsure capture readiness for proposal development, including validated strategy, solution, and pricing alignmentSupport proposal development through color reviews and final submission to ensure consistency with capture strategy and themesDeliver status updates, risk assessments, and decision briefings to senior leadership and support internal gate reviewsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, a technical discipline, or related field preferred10+ years of capture management experience supporting DoD and/or federal civilian agenciesDemonstrated success leading strategic captures for opportunities valued at $50M+Strong knowledge of government contracting processes, acquisition strategies, and competitive positioningProven leadership, organizational, and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholdersActive security clearance preferred, but not requiredBenefitsAt RMC, we're committed to your career growth!
