We provide services in cloud based technologies, virtualization, system security implementation, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, project management, system engineering, system development, hardware, software, system administration, technical writing and help desk support.Description This role is responsible for aligning IT strategy with business goals, optimizing technology investments, managing IT teams and vendors, and serving as a trusted technology advisor to executive leadership. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong business acumen, leadership presence, and the ability to drive strategic technology initiatives that enable growth, efficiency, and security.Strategic IT LeadershipDevelop and execute the organization's technology roadmap in alignment with business objectivesAdvise executives and board members on IT strategy, risks, and investment prioritiesLead digital transformation initiatives, infrastructure modernization, and cloud adoptionDefine IT governance, policies, and standards to support organizational objectivesIT Operations & ManagementOversee IT operations, including systems administration, networking, applications, security, and end user supportEstablish metrics, KPIs, and reporting frameworks to measure IT performance and business impactManage IT budgets, procurement, vendor relationships, service contracts, and procurementEnsure business continuity, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity readinessLead digital transformation, modernization, and technology optimization initiativesEnsure cybersecurity, business continuity, and regulatory complianceAdvise executives on technology risks, opportunities, and investmentsMentor IT leadership and promote a culture of innovation and accountabilityPreferred Qualifications10+ years of IT leadership experience, with at least 5 years in an executive or strategic IT roleExperience managing IT budgets, vendors, and cross-functional teamsExcellent executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related fieldMaster's degree or MBA preferred for strategic business alignmentCertifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISM, MBA (value add), CISSP (bonus)Experience serving as a virtual CIO (vCIO) for clients or internal business unitsFamiliarity with regulated industries and compliance requirementsFull-Time/Part-Time: Full TimeLocation St. Mary's County, LeonardtownExempt/Non-Exempt: ExemptReq Number BUS-26-00002EOE Statement: We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
