Product Development Technician (R&D / Chemical)

Job Location: 14000 Jamboree Rd, Irvine, CA 92606Position Type: 12 Months Contract with possible extension Pay Rate $30/hr on w2 with benefits Education:Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Sciences and Engineering Or Polymer MaterialsQualifications:Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a team or on their own and perform assignments with limited supervision.Is hands-on and enjoys working with machines and tools, and coming up with new ideas.Previous experience in a laboratory environment is preferredStrong problem-solving skills and well organizedExcellent verbal and written communicationStrong computer skills: MS officeSelf-Starter; collaborative team player with an entrepreneurial spirit and can-do attitudeProject management skills: strong work ethic and ability to meet work deadlinesResponsibilities:Conduct experiments and perform a variety of technical procedures in the development of materials for electronics applications.Work on special PD development projects as guided by supervisors; Strong laboratory and research skills: compliance with all safety regulations, sound lab technique and good record keepingGather and analyze data using Albert digital system and provide fast communications to supervisors
