Job Title: Materials Scientist or R&D Chemist or Polymer Materials Engineer or Product Development EngineerLocation: Irvine, CA 92606Duration: 12 months of contract on w2Top 4 Required Skills:Materials / Polymer Development & Laboratory Research Experimental Data Analysis and Problem Solving Chemical / Materials Testing for Electronics Applications Project Management and Technical Documentation Qualifications:• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a team or on their own and perform assignments with limited supervision.• Is hands-on and enjoys working with machines and tools, and coming up with new ideas.• Previous experience in a laboratory environment is preferred• Strong problem-solving skills and well organized• Excellent verbal and written communication• Strong computer skills: MS office• Self-Starter; collaborative team player with an entrepreneurial spirit and can-do attitude• Project management skills: strong work ethic and ability to meet work deadlines• Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Sciences and Engineering; Polymer MaterialsResponsibilities:• Conduct experiments and perform a variety of technical procedures in the development of materials for electronics applications.• Work on special PD development projects as guided by supervisors; Strong laboratory and research skills: compliance with all safety regulations, sound lab technique and good record keeping• Gather and analyze data using Albert digital system and provide fast communications to supervisors
