Production Chemist (GMP Manufacturing / Formulation)Location: Irvine, CA | On-site | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PMDuration: 6-month assignment with high potential to extend or convert to to FTEPay Rate: $30-33/hourJoin our client, a globally respected organization supporting advancements in clinical diagnostics and life sciences. As a Production Chemist I, you will be hands-on in the formulation of critical products used in labs around the world.How You’ll Make an Impact:Formulate bulk products of low to medium complexity, including intermediates, following established manufacturing and quality procedures.Enter production data and manage inventory using an ERP system (SAP experience preferred).Complete all batch documentation and maintain accurate quality records in alignment with GDP and GMP standards.Organize and prioritize daily lab activities to meet tight production timelines.Monitor and adjust manufacturing processes to meet yield and performance requirements.Follow controlled documentation and adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Physical Requirements:Work with large volumes of biological materials (up to 3000 liters) and operate large-scale equipmentComfortable in cold environments (2–8°C rooms, -20°C freezers) and wet conditionsPhysically able to bend, lift up to 30 lbs, climb ladders, squat, and stand for extended periodsWear appropriate PPE and handle potentially hazardous materials in a controlled environmentWhat You Bring:A Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or laboratory setting, ideally with product formulation in the biological or life sciences domain.Familiarity with GMP/GDP and laboratory safety standards, including safe handling of hazardous materials.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experience with ERP systems (SAP is a plus).Excellent documentation and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
