We’ve built something different: a people-first familyand business solution.Job Description: The Trusts & Estates Attorney will work directly with clients to design andimplement estate planning strategies, advise on asset protection, and work with families on estate& trust administration. This attorney will be expected to manage matters from initial consultationthrough completion while maintaining a high level of client service and professional judgment.Key Responsibilities:• Conduct client consultations to assess estate planning and asset protection needs• Draft estate planning documents including wills, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts,powers of attorney, and advance healthcare directives• Develop customized estate planning strategies tailored to each client’s financial and familycircumstances• Estate and Trust Administration• Review and analyze client financial information to support estate planningrecommendations• Communicate complex legal concepts clearly to clients and guide them through planningdecisions• Work collaboratively with paralegals and administrative staff to ensure efficient filemanagement and document preparation• Maintain accurate case records and timekeeping in the firm’s case management system• Stay current on developments in estate planning, tax considerations, and elder law• Participate in firm initiatives that support business development, client education, andcommunity outreachQualifications:• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school• Active license to practice law in Maryland, or ability to obtain admission promptly• 3 years of experience in estate planning and trusts• Strong drafting skills for estate planning and trust documents• Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail• Comfortable working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment• Familiarity with Clio and/or WealthCounsel is a plus.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).• High level of professionalism and confidentiality.Benefits:• Health, dental, and vision insurance.• PTO, Sick Leave and holidays.• 401K• Company paid Life, STD, LTD, AD&D insurance• Professional development opportunities.• Supportive and collaborative work environment.Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 plus bonusHow to Apply: Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their resume, cover letter, andreferences to Lisa Zajdel at LZajdel@hwklawgroup.com with the subject line “Estate PlanningAttorney.”HWK Law Group is an equal opportunity employer.
