This is an entry-level position that has the potential to grow into a Operations, Project Engineer, or Data Analyst role.Responsibilities and duties• Cross-functional support for our CSE program and Operations Teams tasks/activities, and projects• Track and maintain VDR and peripherals functionality• Ensure VDR's are functioning and recording data• Ensure that the VDR's remain up to date with current software and firmware levels• Maintain all components of VDR system• Installations, inspections/triage, and removals as necessary• Maintain hardware and accessory inventory• Respond to all VDR diagnostic codes that are generated from the customer fleet• Review customer data to verify correctness, completeness, and data fidelity• Work with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve systemmalfunctions, and provide technical information from in-field evaluations• Assist in Supplier Management and engineers with product tests• Research, design, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain mechanical products, equipment, systems andprocesses to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principlesJOB DESCRIPTIONROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESAbout this position:The Project Engineering Technician is responsible for Vehicle Data Recorder (VDR) activities in customer and other test vehicles.
