This role is pivotal in providing support for the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of new initiatives within the firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for detailed financial and market analysis, developing complex financial models, screening investment opportunities, and preparing essential documentation for investment decisions. Key projects for the group include management company acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and global expansion. The VP/Principal will also be involved in driving strategic projects for new business development initiatives and will be expected to work closely with senior management, demonstrating impeccable integrity, self-motivation, and the ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion. Applicants for the VP/Principal position should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA or CFA being a plus, and at least 6 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, or principal investing, preferably with a focus on asset management, financial services, or insurance. The role requires a candidate with a high level of attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Private equity caliber drive, creative problem-solving abilities, and strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. The candidate should be highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, and be capable of working with limited supervision.
