Vice President of Signage

Position Summary The Vice President of Signage provides strategic and operational leadership for the entire Signage Division, including design, production, fabrication, installation, and project management. This role is responsible for driving profitability, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction through strong leadership, process optimization, and innovation within the signage business. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy Develop and execute strategic plans that align with company goals for growth, quality, and profitability within the signage division. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of directors, managers, and supervisors across design, production, installation, and sales. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Identify and implement new technologies, materials, and methods to keep the company at the forefront of the signage industry. Operational Management Oversee day-to-day operations ensuring production efficiency, quality standards, and on-time delivery. Manage department budgets, forecasting, and P&L performance. Optimize workflow, resource allocation, and process efficiency across departments. Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and local permitting requirements. Customer & Business Development Partner with sales and marketing teams to develop new business opportunities and strengthen key client relationships. Support major project bids and presentations, ensuring competitive and accurate proposals. Maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution. Performance & Quality Establish and monitor performance metrics across operations, including production throughput, installation timelines, and quality benchmarks. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve margins, and enhance quality. Ensure all projects meet brand, aesthetic, and technical requirements. Team & Talent Development Build and retain a high-performing signage leadership team. Provide coaching and development opportunities to grow internal talent. Promote cross-department collaboration between design, fabrication, installation, and project management. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in business, management, industrial design, or related field (master’s preferred). Minimum 10 years of experience in signage (highly preferred), fabrication, or construction-related industries, with at least 5 years in a senior management role. Proven success leading large-scale production and installation teams. Skills & Competencies Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data and drive profitability. Expertise in signage materials, fabrication methods, and installation processes. Proficient in project management and workflow optimization. Customer-focused mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
