Here, you'll find everything you need to excel in your job including outstanding facilities, comprehensive resources and talented teammates in partnering for healing and a healthy future.Practicing within a National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer (NAPRC)-accredited program, you'll work alongside colorectal surgeons and oncology teams to deliver personalized, evidence-based, and compassionate care.Responsibilities•First assist in surgical procedures and provide perioperative care. •Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including histories and physical exams.•Supports surgical oncologists in both inpatient and outpatient settings, contributing to improved access, continuity, and outcomes for oncology patients.•On call for practice and ER as needed for the practice.•Independently manages hospital-based care and outpatients.•Has specialized training or practice focused on surgical oncology, colorectal training preferred.•Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with colorectal surgical oncologists.•Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests and imaging.•Coordinates patient care with other specialties.•Supervises RN and MAs in the treatment of surgical patients. •Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, procedures, and recovery.•Participate in tumor boards, care conferences, and quality improvement initiatives.•Document all patient interactions and clinical decisions in the electronic medical record (EMR).•Stay current with best practices, emerging therapies, and clinical guidelines through continuing education and training. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $190,270.00 - $195,464.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
