You will pay the fees by credit card or debit card. You will pay $59.00 for each registration, total of $118.00.New Mexico Public Educational Department Licensure (NM PED)-Coaches (Paid and Volunteer), Your position requires a Coaching license from NM PED, you will pay the fees by credit card or debit card and you will pay the fee of $50.00. Los Alamos Public Schools will provide you with all the information you need to apply for the coaching licensure.Coaches (Paid and Volunteer), You will pay additional fees for all NFHS courses needed for the NMPED Coaching License.Coach- total NFHS fees will be $100.00Coach Cheer- total NFHS fees will be $185Please register online at nfhslearn.com. Click on the "Courses" tab on the home page, scroll down to locate the above courses needed for completion.After completion of each course, please print your Certificate of Completion and send to Los Alamos Public Schools Human Resources Department by hand delivery, mail or email.You have two (2) months maximum to complete all courses after you have been processed and fingerprinted to be a Coach with Los Alamos Public Schools (LAPS).To provide leadership, supervision and set examples for the High School Soccer program. Stay knowledgeable of NMAA, District, and Los Alamos rules and regulations. Attend clinics whenever possible to learn new ideas and to stay informed on latest soccer news. Inventory and maintain equipment. Explain what is expected for Soccer athletes on and off the pitch. Make sure every athlete has a physical on file. Turn in all paperwork in a timely manner. Apply discipline in a firm, fair and positive manner. Make sure athletes conduct themselves in a proper manner at all times. Make sure team treats opponents with respect. Keep the Athletic Director informed at all times about the program. Be able to work in cooperation with all the coaching staff; and parents.Must be able to demonstrate the sport or activity, including lifting all equipment as required by the activity. The employee must have the physical stamina to be able to handle the hours and physical stress of the sport during contests and practices.
