𝗢𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗤𝗟 Developer𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗔𝘁𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮, 𝗚𝗔 (𝗛𝘆𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗱) 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗗𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝟲+ 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗧𝘆𝗽𝗲: 𝗜𝗻 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗻𝗹𝘆𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁: 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗮𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:This position primarily works with large, normalized Oracle transactional databases and is responsible for extracting, validating, analyzing, automating, and maintaining operational data.This is not a traditional Business Intelligence or Dashboard Development position. Approximately 70–80% of the work involves writing Oracle SQL and PL/SQL directly against transactional databases. Candidates should have experience developing SQL from scratch rather than primarily working with data warehouses, semantic models, or pre-built Business Intelligence datasets.𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗗𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:● Develop, maintain, and optimize complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programs.● Write simple and complex SQL queries from scratch against normalized Oracle transactional databases.● Analyze business requirements and determine the appropriate tables, relationships, joins, and business rules needed to answer complex business questions.● Extract, validate, transform, and analyze operational data for reporting, research, grants, and executive requests.● Develop and maintain automated SQL processes, scheduled database jobs, and recurring data refreshes.● Troubleshoot SQL scripts, automated jobs, and data quality issues.● Create efficient, reusable, and well-documented SQL code.● Support recurring operational reports, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), legislative reporting, and research initiatives.● Collaborate with business users to understand reporting needs and communicate analytical findings.● Support Tableau dashboards and other data visualization initiatives as needed.𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀:• Oracle SQL development against transactional databases• Writing complex SQL (joins, CTEs, subqueries, CASE, aggregate and analytic functions)• Oracle PL/SQL (procedures, functions, packages, views)• SQL job scheduling and automated database processes• SQL troubleshooting, query optimization, and data validation• Tableau or other data visualization software
