At Synopsys, you will work with a team that takes this work seriously, where the pipelines you build directly affect how quickly and safely our Salesforce platform evolves.What You'll Be DoingBuild, configure, and maintain Salesforce deployment pipelines in Copado, including User Stories, promotion paths, and release and environment managementDevelop and maintain Salesforce customizations using Apex, Lightning components, flows, and configuration in support of DevOps tooling and internal platform needsManage Git-based version control workflows for Salesforce metadata, including branching strategy, merge conflict resolution, and code promotion across environments from sandbox to productionCoordinate and execute Salesforce deployments, working closely with developers and admins to plan releases, sequence dependencies, and minimize downtimeMonitor deployment pipelines and troubleshoot failures, working through Copado job errors, validation failures, and metadata conflicts to keep releases on trackMaintain sandbox environments, including refresh scheduling, seeding, and data and configuration alignment across the org landscapeDocument release processes, deployment runbooks, and Copado configuration standards so the process stays consistent as the team growsThe Impact You Will HaveGive development teams a reliable, self-service path to production so releases stop being a bottleneckReduce failed deployments and rollback incidents through better pipeline design, validation, and pre-deployment checksShorten release cycles by streamlining promotion paths and cutting manual handoffs out of the processImprove visibility into what is moving through the pipeline, so stakeholders always know release status and riskStrengthen org stability by keeping sandboxes, metadata, and environments properly aligned and documentedEnable the Salesforce platform to scale safely as customizations and user base grow across the companyCreate deployment patterns that other teams can adopt, multiplying your impact across the broader Salesforce organizationWhat You'll Need2 to 5 years of experience in Salesforce development or Salesforce platform administrationHands-on experience with Copado for deployment and release management, including User Stories and promotion pipelinesComfort with Git-based workflows including branching, merging, resolving conflicts, and managing metadata in version controlWorking knowledge of core Salesforce concepts including Apex, Lightning components, flows, and standard and custom object configurationUnderstanding of Salesforce release management fundamentals including sandboxes, change sets or metadata API, and environment strategyBasic scripting or automation skills such as shell scripting that help streamline deployment tasks is a plusSalesforce certifications such as Administrator, Platform Developer I, or Copado certifications are a plusWho You AreYou are detail-oriented under pressure, a rushed deployment is exactly when you slow down and double-check dependenciesYou communicate proactively, flagging risk or blockers before they turn into a failed releaseYou collaborate well with both developers and admins, translating between what the code does and what the org needsYou are comfortable owning a process end to end, from a User Story's creation through its successful promotion to productionYou look for patterns in recurring deployment issues and fix the root cause instead of patching around it each timeYou can explain a complex deployment failure to a non-technical stakeholder in two sentences without losing the technical nuanceThe Team You'll Be Part OfThis role sits within our Salesforce platform and DevOps team, responsible for the release engineering and deployment tooling that supports our broader Salesforce development organization.
