Unit specific variation may apply.Special Care Areas care for patients 18 years through adult with high-risk conditions.Maternal Child Units: Labor and Delivery care includes patients who have a pregnancy related condition.Nursery care includes care for the newborn until discharge.Endoscopy Unit cares for patients 18 years and older.Emergency Department provides care to patients of all ages.Behavioral Health/Gero-Psych Unit provides care for patients 17 years and older requiring psychiatric care.Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.QualificationsMINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Graduate or equivalent.PREFERRED EDUCATION:MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 1 year hospital experienceREQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of a current state or national nurse's aide certification or a certification as a phlebotomist, medical technician, patient care technician, medical assistant, EKG tech or in another related field.PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE:REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): BLS - Obtained through approved American Heart Association Training Center.#LI-NR1Employment practices will not be influenced or affected by an applicant's or employee's race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran status or any other legally protected status.
