Job Title: Payroll and Benefits AdministratorLocation: Greater Little Rock, ArkansasPay Range: $60,000 - $75,000Our client, a leading organization in the North Little Rock area, is seeking a dedicated Payroll and Benefits Administrator to join their team. As a Payroll and Benefits Administrator, you will be an essential part of the Human Resources department supporting the organization's payroll and employee benefits functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.What's the Job?Process payroll for both Hourly and Exempt employees in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.Implement, maintain, and review payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.Assist in administering employee benefits programs such as health, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans.Serve as the primary point of contact for internal employees, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators, handling benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations.Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll, wage, and hour laws, and facilitate audits by providing necessary records and documentation.What's Needed?Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field, with 3-5 years of payroll administration experience; or 8-10 years of progressive payroll experience without a degree.Extensive knowledge of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and its application to payroll processing.Strong understanding of payroll functions, including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.Proficiency with payroll software/HRIS (ADP) and advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.What's in it for me?Opportunity to work with a reputable organization committed to employee success.Engagement in meaningful work that impacts the organization and its employees directly.Chance to develop your skills within a supportive and inclusive environment.Work in a role that values accuracy, autonomy, and professional growth.Competitive salary aligned with your experience and expertise.Upon completion of waiting period employees are eligible for:Medical and Prescription Drug PlansDental PlanVision PlanHealth Savings AccountHealth Flexible Spending AccountDependent Care Flexible Spending AccountSupplemental Life InsuranceShort Term and Long Term Disability InsuranceBusiness Travel Insurance401(k), Plus MatchWeekly PayIf this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
