The actual posting represents a position at one of our clients.Job SummaryOur client is seeking a Medical Assistant responsible for managing front office tasks and providing support in the back office. The role involves managing patient interactions, handling financial transactions, and ensuring smooth office operations.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging and balancing money.Preparing for patient sign-ins.Communicating with the verification team regarding insurance.Managing patient paperwork, including sign-in sheets and yearly forms.Checking in and checking out patients.Collecting payments.Creating lab requisitions and scheduling appointments.Supporting back office duties, such as rooming, taking vitals, and performing blood draws.QualificationsValid driver's license and proof of insurance.Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.Financial responsibility, including balancing money.Capable of working in stressful settings.Willingness to learn and be trained.Bilingual skills preferred.SkillsAbility to multitask and handle stress effectively.Strong communication and organizational skills.Financial acumen and attention to detail.Additional RequirementsTraining may require compliance with DPC regulations.Schedule / ShiftMonday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PMBenefitsPaid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances).Health Benefits / Dental / Vision (Medix offers 6 different health plans: 3 Major Medical Plans, 2 Fixed Indemnity Plans (Standard and Preferred), and 1 Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) Plan.
