A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: - Variable shifts - 3x12s or 4x10s with rotating days off - Call required - varies, averaging 3-6 days in a 28-day cycle - Weekend coverage required - averages every 4th or 5th weekend - Schedule will vary each week with no set days guaranteed - flexibility required - Block schedule cannot be approved - Start date within the next 3-5 weeks - 36 hours of orientation - 2 years of experience required - General, Ortho, Neuro, Trauma and ENT experience needed - Pediatric experience preferred - Required certifications: PALS, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS - Cerner charting system experience preferred - Flu vaccine required - medical/religious exemptions allowed - Care for patients of all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics - Work in 13-room OR suite with daily census of 35-40 cases - Must be comfortable with extensive surgical procedures including bariatric, cardiovascular, robotic, trauma, and specialty surgeries - On-site drug screen required with multiple panels - Documents due 3 business days prior to start date - Expect to work some holidays Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive surgical services department with 13 operating rooms and advanced surgical capabilities.
