Senior Inventory Logistics Analyst

Position Scope: The Senior Inventory and Logistics Analyst is responsible for supporting Global Operations Management in establishing strategies for warehousing, Inventory, and management of inventory audits. In this role, the Senior Inventory and Logistics Analyst will utilize a combination of Inventory Management software and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to successfully maximize inventories and assets in the possession of distributors, Customers, 3PL organizations and internal field teams.Specific Responsibilities:Aid Global Ops Management in the establishment and implementation of warehousing & logistics strategies to support evolving business requirements in partnership with Commercial Operations and Sales Management teamsPartner with 3PL to ensure timely and accurate inventory and asset support of surgical cases. Activities to include, fulfillment of sales orders, Consignment replenishments, Loaners and any other inventory or asset related demand. Lead Field Inventory Audit Process on an as needed basis. Accountable for recovery of expired/damaged, as well as excess field inventory returns through the RMA process. Accountable for achievement of logistics service levels, freight spend, and inventory target goalsAccountable for ensuring inventory accuracy through proper transaction management. Establish relationships with internal customers and Distributorships. support regular reviews of order fulfillment process and performance KPIs with a mindset towards continuous improvement and customer experienceResponsible for Global Operations training, oversite, and day-to-day management of Field Inventory Management Software application for Global Operations personnel. Responsible for supporting Commercial Operations in Distributor onboarding, offboarding, right sizing and inventory adjustment activities in relation to all distributor consignments. Support Global Operations Management in creating and/or updating inventory management processes and procedures. Responsible for planned visits to Anika, 3PL, and distributor locations in support of periodic meetings covering business review, problem resolution, and periodic audits. Job Complexity: Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of information requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Devises solutions based on limited information and precedent and adapts existing approaches to resolve issues. Uses evaluation, judgment, and interpretation to select right course of action. Work is done independently and is reviewed at critical points.Supervisory Responsibilities:None.Desired Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:BS/BA degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience5+ years of managing inventory including experience working with 3rd-party logistics vendors2+ years of experience working in a logistics and/or warehousing team lead position at a Capital Equipment business2+ years of responsibility for managing a warehouseUnderstanding of medical device regulations governing international and domestic shipmentsStrong analytical and financial skillsetTop-level customer service orientation – both internal and external customersIn depth knowledge of key planning and logistics processes & current best practicesMust have the ability to interact and execute at all levels of the companyStrong results orientation, and ability to drive projects to a successful completionProven ability for critical thought and to think creativelyOther:Ability to travel approximately 10-15% of the time
