We are looking to hire a Financial Analyst II to support the Hartford HealthCare system. What You'll Do As a Financial Analyst II, you'll be a vital part of our Finance team,Providing supportto shape data-driven decisions across the organization. You'll work closely with operational and finance leaders, leveraging your analytical expertise to guide strategic initiatives and improve performance. Key Responsibilities Drive Financial InsightsAnalyze revenue trends, identify key drivers of financial variance (month-to-month, quarter-to-quarter, year-over-year), and provide actionable insights to leadership. * Support Decision-MakingDevelop/Analyze reports for Monitor monthly revenue and AR, Month EndEnsure Financial IntegrityMaintain and monitor month-end file submissions, reconcile subsystems with the general ledger, and ensure compliance with internal controls and deadlines. * Enhance Performance VisibilityCapture and report on KPIs, including payment trends, denials, and operational performance, using tools likeKodiakRCA to pinpoint areas of improvement. * Be a Go-To ResourceProvide data, reports, and financial expertise to internal stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor across departments. * Lead with CollaborationPartner with teams across the system, lead or contribute to special projects, and bring innovative solutions to complex challenges. * Invest in Your GrowthTake charge of your professional development, continuously upgrading your skills through learning and mentorship opportunities. Apply today and make your mark at Hartford HealthCare.What Sets You Apart BA/BS degree Finance or Accounting preferred OR substituted by 10 years' experience in analyzing in a health care background * Proven experience in financial analysis, reporting, and variance analysis * Knowledge of PeopleSoft 9.2 General Ledger system a positive * Kodiak RCA Tool Experience Knowledge of EPIC patient accounting system a positive * Proficiency in data tools (e.g., Excel, Pivots, Tableau) * Excellent communication and collaboration skills * Self-motivated with a passion for continuous learning and improvement We take great care of careers.
