We have ambitious plans to scale our system to serve the children in our communities better and are looking for educators who are ready to drive transformative change.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Support the implementation of the HMH (literacy), UFLI (foundational literacy), and Bluebonnet (math) curriculumsLead and oversee curricular instructional goal-setting and long-term planningDirectly manage and coach kindergarten through first-grade teachers to deliver quality instructionCollaborate with teachers to internalize lesson plans and instructional materialsCoach teachers to develop clear and consistent instructional classroom expectations, routines, and methods through the observation feedback cycleObserve and model components within the curriculumPlan and lead weekly planning and individual coaching meetings teachersMonitor completion rates of essential formative assessmentsPrep assessment materials for teachersAnalyze data to inform instructional practices and provide targeted support to studentsMonitor student progress toward benchmark goalsCreate and facilitate professional development based on observed trends and best practicesAttend and support school-wide eventsSupport teachers in providing family resources and homework aligned with classroom instructionCollaborate with the campus instructional leadership team to discuss trends and alignment across grade levelsSupport in ordering and disseminating materialsExemplify, model, and hold all teachers accountable to the pillars of our staff culture rubricSupport scholar culture, cultivate positive relationships, and model restorative practicesQualifications:Bachelor's degreeA minimum of three years of teaching experienceTrack record of academic successStrong ability to build relationships with teachers, scholars, and familiesAdditional Considerations:Masters DegreeExperience coaching or knowledge of T-TESS and the Get Better Faster FrameworkExperience leading a team and coaching others in academic and behavioral best practicesExperience in leading and creating professional developmentKnowledge and Skills:Deep-seated belief in the mission and vision of Austin AchieveBe willing to do "whatever it takes" to ensure all scholars learnHold all scholars to the highest expectations to ensure upper elementary readinessAbility to use data to inform instructional practicesExcellent classroom management and teaching skillsStatement of Non-Discrimination:In keeping with our beliefs and goals, no employee or applicant will face discrimination/harassment based on race, color, ancestry, national origin, religion, age, gender, marital/domestic partner status, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability status, or veteran status.
