Contractor - HR Recruiter

Flexible Work: Hybrid This long-term contractor position as an HR Recruiter at PJM Interconnection involves managing the full recruitment cycle to support the Human Resources department in acquiring top talent for the energy industry. The role focuses on identifying, attracting, and hiring qualified professionals to ensure the reliability of the regional electric grid.Essential FunctionsManaging the full-life cycle recruitment for the whole organization for openings at company.Updating Workday with new job requisitionsThoroughly reviewing applicant resumes and cover letters for desired experience and skills for company’s open positionsConducting initial phone interviews to assess motivations, availability, and communication skillsDocumenting interview feedback in WorkdayManaging a high volume of applicantsScheduling candidate meetings and interviews and coordinating travel arrangementsFiling interview guides & documents – must go to the PJM campus (Audubon, PA area) periodically to fileMarketing PJM’s open positions on social media using LinkedIn, Facebook, Handshake, Indeed & other industry related job boardsMaintaining the position description database by creating job codes & synching up Workday with JDXpertCreating interview guidesResponding to general staffing telephone inquiries from prospective and current employees Creating postings, ensuring that all positions are posted and removed from the internal and external websites; notifying employees of internal postingsTracking correspondence, schedules, and other crucial data on candidatesEnsuring Workday is maintained with accurate informationBuilding and maintaining a strong pipeline of potential candidatesWorking closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and candidate profilesWork as a team to support HR Business Partners, Executive Director HR, Compensation and HRIS employeesUpdate the staffing report on a weekly basisFrom time to time get involved in creating position descriptions for job postings or promotion cycle'sSupport immigration processing – work with outside Counsel to ensure all new employees and existing employees have updated immigration paperNew employees working on transferring VisasExisting employees working on Perm cases and any change to their immigration statusA strong knowledge of the USCIS I-9 HandbookRequiredAssociates Degree in HR or equivalent work experienceAt least 10 years of experience with HR Corporate RecruitmentFamiliarity with applicant tracking system preferably WorkdayMust be able to travel to PJM's location in Audubon, PA locationStrong interpersonal and communication skills
