CNC Programmer
CNC ProgrammerKamatatics is seeking a CNC Programmer to provide programming support to Manufacturing Operations. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing CNC programs in accordance with established machining standards for assigned Value Stream products, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to operational requirements.Responsibilities:Creates accurate CNC programs, using applicable tools, which support cell manufacturing techniques and standards. Assists cell leadership in the troubleshooting of machining issues and offers advice on best machining practices.Develops programs which reflect known standards and communicates with cell leadership when changes to the standard should be considered. Safeguards the integrity of the programs and instills program stability confidence in the operators, in support of the cells "load-and-go" efforts.Assists cell leadership and cell operators with effort to reduce set-up times and increase productivity and efficiencies.Communicates with OPT Production Engineer, on a regular basis, ensuring that they are aware of current standards and that they are informed of DNC number assignments in a timely manner.Maintains clean and safe work environment. Follows safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Reports on safety incidents to supervisor.Makes recommendations for improvements to work processes. Contributes to 5S program in work area.Provides a high level of service to all internal and external customers. Contributes to positive teamwork environment.Performs other duties as assigned. Participates in training/learning other positions. Accomplishes related results as needed.Requirements/QualificationsEducation:AS Degree in Machining Technology or equivalent work experience in a manufacturing environment.Experience:3-5 years manufacturing / programming / machine shop experience.
