CNC Programmer

CNC ProgrammerWe are seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer to develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for precision manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of machining processes, CAD/CAM software, and the ability to improve efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards.ResponsibilitiesCreate, edit, and optimize CNC programs for mills and multi-axis machinesInterpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD modelsSelect appropriate tooling, cutting methods, and machine parametersSet up and prove out new programs on CNC equipmentTroubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvementsCollaborate with engineers, machinists, and production teamsEnsure all programs meet quality standards and specificationsMaintain organized program documentation and revision controlFollow all safety procedures and company policiesRequired Skills/AbilitiesExperience with lean manufacturing principlesKnowledge of various materials (metals, plastics, alloys)Familiarity with tooling design and fixturingStrong communication and teamwork skillsEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent (technical degree preferred)5+ years of CNC programming experienceProficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Creo, Windchill, and Vericut)Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programmingExperience with multi-axis machining preferredAbility to read and interpret blueprints and GD&TStrong problem-solving and attention to detailPhysical RequirementsManufacturing/production floor settingStanding for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs may be requiredExposure to machinery, noise, and shop conditions
